Gloagburn Tulips

The late winter and early spring weather has been kind to the tulips with dry mild temperatures. Ground conditions are good. If this continues we are expecting to be open for Pick Your Own early to mid April - coinciding nicely with school holidays and Easter!

Pick Your Own

Our tulip field is a free to attend event where you can pick tulips to take home and enjoy or gift to family and friends. We have over 70,000 bulbs planted over 15 different varieties, ranging from early, to mid, to late bloomers. Once we open we hope to have tulips available to pick for 3 weeks. Perfect for a wholesome family trip to the country!

• Secateurs are provided with a pruning bench to tie your bunch together
• This is an open event and there is no need to book a time slot. Once we are open you can come along anytime between 0830-1730 each day.
• Pricing for 2025: 60p per stem
• The field can get muddy if the weather is unkind, please wear suitable footwear
• Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome
• Off road buggies and wheelchairs should be able to navigate the field safely. Unfortunately there isn't a smooth level path.

Sunflowers

After last years sunflower crop failure, we are planning to grow (fingers crossed) sunflowers again in 2025. Hopefully they will be open early August for 3 weeks.
