Gloagburn Christmas Cake

The Gloagburn Christmas Cake has its roots in another family recipe, with it forming part of our own Christmas celebrations for many years. Each generation has added its own twist and the result of this is on offer every year in the farm shop.

All of our cakes are mixed by hand with alcohol soaked fruits and spices, then baked. We then mature them, feeding regularly with brandy before they are hand decorated with marzipan and royal icing. Our team then hand wrap and ribbon them. They are truly a product of time and dedication.
